2026年5月26日から28日までの3日間、フィンランド・ユヴァスキュラにて開催された「Optics and Photonics Days 2026（OPD2026）」に、ハジメソルーションズも参加しました。
OPDは、Photonics Finlandが毎年フィンランドで開催している北欧最大級のフォトニクス関連カンファレンスの一つです。今回のOPD2026には、アメリカ、欧州、アジアをはじめ世界各国から432名の参加者と48社の出展企業が集まりました。
近年、フィンランドでもフォトニクスは注目技術分野の一つとして存在感を高めています。ハジメソルーションズは、世界的に注目が高まるフォトニクス分野において北欧と日本をつなぐビジネス支援をさらに強化するため、2026年5月にPhotonics Finlandへ入会いたしました。こうした取り組みの一環として、今回初めてOPD2026に参加し、新たなビジネス機会の開拓と、光学・フォトニクス分野の最新動向を把握することを目的に、会場では企業や研究機関との交流を深めました。
会場では、フォトニクス分野の専門的な講演やセッションに加え、コーヒーブレイクや食事の時間にも多くの交流の機会があり、国や業界の垣根を越えて、参加者同士が自然に会話を交わせる、温かくオープンな雰囲気が印象的でした。
出展企業や参加者の中には、日本との接点を持つ方々も多く見られました。交流の中では、弊社を代表して参加した社員の地元近くにある技術センターを訪れたことのある参加者との思いがけない出会いもあり、会話が弾む場面もありました。こうした偶然のつながりからも、日本とフィンランドの距離の近さを感じることができました。
今回の参加を通じて、フォトニクス分野における日本とフィンランドの間には多くの協業の可能性があることを改めて実感しました。ハジメソルーションズでは今後も、両国の企業や技術をつなぐ架け橋として、事業支援により一層力を入れてまいります。

Hajime Solutions at Optics & Photonics Days 2026: Eploring Collaboration Opportunities Between Finland and Japan in Photonics
From May 26–28, 2026, Hajime Solutions participated in Optics & Photonics Days 2026 (OPD2026), held in Jyväskylä, Finland.
Organized annually by Photonics Finland, OPD is one of the largest photonics conferences in the Nordic region. This year’s event brought together 432 participants and 48 exhibiting companies from around the world, including North America, Europe, and Asia.
In recent years, photonics has emerged as one of Finland’s key technology sectors. To further strengthen our support for business collaboration between the Nordics and Japan in this rapidly growing field, Hajime Solutions joined Photonics Finland in May 2026.
As part of this initiative, we attended OPD2026 for the first time with two main objectives: to explore new business opportunities and to gain a deeper understanding of the latest developments in optics and photonics. Throughout the event, we engaged with companies, research organizations, and industry professionals from across the ecosystem.
In addition to technical presentations and expert sessions, the conference offered numerous opportunities for informal networking during coffee breaks and meals. The welcoming and open atmosphere made it easy for participants to connect across industries, organizations, and national borders.
We were also pleasantly surprised by the number of participants and companies with existing connections to Japan. One particularly memorable conversation took place with a participant who had previously visited a technology center located near the hometown of our representative attending the event. Encounters like these highlighted the close and growing connections between Finland and Japan.
Our participation in OPD2026 reinforced our belief that there is significant potential for collaboration between Japan and Finland in the photonics sector. Hajime Solutions remains committed to serving as a bridge between companies, technologies, and innovation ecosystems in both countries.
